NEW AT REHACARE 2024: INNOVATIVE COMMUNITY FORUM “TOGETHER – SELF-DETERMINED - INCLUSIVE”

   From September 25 – 28, 2024, REHACARE 2024, International Trade Fair for Rehabilitation and Care, will again bring together the entire community at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. Major international players from the assistive technology industry, activists, NGOs, relatives and those affected will come together to network, impart knowledge and share experiences. REHACARE is more than just a trade fair - it is a place for coming together, exchanging ideas and inspiration, while at the same time presenting an impressive variety of innovative mobility aids, care and therapy services as well as sports and leisure activities for people with disabilities.

   A special highlight will be the debut of the Community Forum “Gemeinsam - selbstbestimmt – inklusiv/Together – self-determined – inclusive” held for the first time as part of the meeting point Rehacare. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to personally meet podcasters, bloggers and influencers from the community. These creative minds will share exciting experiences and stories from the fields of travel, sports, fashion and family.

    The Forum will present inspiring talks by people who have faced life's challenges and overcome hurdles through innovative solutions and inclusive offers. For example, Moritz Brückner, athlete in the German national wheelchair rugby team and motivational coach, will talk about resilience, the psyche and motivation in his presentation “The completely different life”.

   Content creator Svenja Gluth, known as “Svenjas.Welt”, is committed to inclusion and accessibility on social media. With her positive energy and love for adventure, she actively shapes her everyday life and takes away the fear of contact from people without disabilities. Together with her husband and two-year-old daughter, she shows that they are a special, yet completely normal family.

   Travel bloggers Adina and Timo Hermann have travelled the world together since 2007 establishing the travel blog Mobilista.eu in 2014. They will report about their experiences, travelling with a wheelchair, failures, bad luck and mishaps and about unforgettable moments in faraway places.
