Medical Fair India 2024, India’s No. 1 Trade Fair for Hospitals, Health Centers and Clinics, concluded its 29th edition recently at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai. A total of 348 exhibitors showcased their latest products and solutions to 14,215 attendees from 42 nations.
Medical Fair India is part of Messe Düsseldorf’s medical trade fair portfolio “MEDICAlliance” and is organized by Messe Düsseldorf India with support from the Association of Indian Medical Device Industry (AiMeD), the Association of Diagnostics Manufacturers of India (ADMI), Voice of Healthcare (VOH), the Association of Healthcare Providers (India) (AHPI), the Quality & Accreditation Institute (QAI), the NASSCOM Center of Excellence − IoT & AI, Healthcare Events and GMAA.
The trade fair featured exhibitors from 16 countries, including Australia, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the U.S. and Vietnam on 14,000 square meters of exhibit space. The event also included group participations from China, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Italy. A special highlight was the “Make in India Pavilion”, supported by Association of Indian Medical Device Industry (AiMeD).
Exhibit categories at Medical Fair India 2024 included a comprehensive range of medical technology, hospital/health center equipment, clinical laboratory and analytical equipment, rehabilitation solutions, components and hospital infrastructure. The attendees included physicians, dentists, hospital directors, dealers and distributors of medical devices as well as medical technicians and representatives from academia and government.

Extensive Ancillary Program
The Clin Lab Expo Conference and the in−vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Pavilion at Medical Fair India 2024 focused on laboratory medicine, point of care testing, molecular medical diagnostics & clinical chemistry solutions and highlighted recent developments in the IVD and related areas. The one day conference was entitled “Driving Global Dominance through Innovations: IVD Industry’s Role in Economic Growth” and was supported by Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre, IIT Kanpur.
The Future for Health (FTR4H) Digital Health Pavilion, Conference and Start−up Pitch Competition was another highlight at Medical fair India 2024. FTR4H is a society of digital health enthusiasts which acts as a definer to connect all global digital health ecosystems in markets like China, Europe, India, Southeast Asia and the U.S. with the MEDICAlliance. The pavilion featured digital health start−ups that are advances in their respective fields while the conference hosted panel discussions, workshops, talks and demonstrations on the theme “‘Transformative Tech Tornado in Healthcare”’. Budding start−ups participated in the live pitch competition and the winners were NeoDocs (First Place), SunFox (Second Place) & DoseTap (Third Place). The conference had the support of key industry players − Lateetud as the Silver Partner, NASSCOM Center of Excellence −IoT & AI as the Digital Transformation Partner, City of Düsseldorf Economic Development as the Awards Partner, GINSEP (German Indian Startup Exchange Program), BioAngels − Powered by Indian Angel Network, WomenInTech India and Indian Healthcare Angels as the Ecosystem Partners and Health Innovation Toolbox as the Knowledge Partner.
The Indian rehabilitation industry has been growing steadily over last few decades and is also one of the major social and economic goals in India. During Medical Fair Inda 2024, the rehaindia pavilion showcased rehabilitation solutions with the focus on inclusion and empowerment of people with disabilities.
The Voice of Healthcare 8th International Conference addressed the topic of digitizing the country's health care delivery system. The conference was chaired by Dr. Naveen Nishchal, Founder − Meddo, Cygnus Hospital, VOH Incubator.
The Smart Hospitals Conference with the topic “Indian Healthcare Services − A Decade of Growth Forecast” offered a series of sessions created to help owners of small hospitals, daycare centers and clinics manage their businesses, in alignment with changing market needs and business scenarios.
The 14th MT India Healthcare Awards, organized by Medgate Today Magazine and powered by Medical Fair India, recognized the best industry players, institutions and medical professionals for their exemplary work in the healthcare sector.
