WIRE & TUBE MEXICO 2025 PROVIDE IMPORTANT SECTOR PLATFORM

The second staging of wire Mexico and the premiere of Tube Mexico held as part of the established Mexican trade fair Expo Manufactura at the CINTERMEX Centro Internacional de Negocios in Monterrey, was a resounding success. A total of 168 exhibitors from 20 countries   showcased their innovations on 1,815 square meters of exhibit space at wire & Tube Mexico. Exhibitor participation at wire Mexico marks an increase of 57% compared to 2024. wire & Tube Mexico are satellite events of Messe Düsseldorf’s wire, Tube & Flow Technologies trade fair portfolio. Expo Manufactura, the International Trade Fair for Manufacturing Technology, Automation and Robotics, has been held annually in Mexico since 1996 and is  managed by the international organizer Informa Markets.

Together, the three trade fairs attracted 13,652 visitors from Mexico, other Latin American countries, the U.S. and Canada.

“wire & Tube Mexico provided an important business platform for the Latin American wire, cable, tube and pipe sectors. Mexico is becoming increasingly important and is a key growth market for these industries. Increasing investment in Mexican infrastructure is driving national demand, also in the neighboring countries of Central and South America. More companies are discovering Mexico as an attractive market. We look forward to supporting the further development of the Mexican market and offering our customers relevant, internationally-oriented market platforms together with our partner Informa Markets,” stated Thomas Mitchell, President of Messe Düsseldorf North America, organizer of wire & Tube Mexico 2025.

At wire & Tube Mexico 2025, companies demonstrated how innovatively, sustainably and digitally their industries manufacture. At wire Mexico, the 120 exhibitors displayed machinery for wire/cable manufacturing and processing, tools and auxiliary materials as well as wire/cable products, testing technology and software. The 48 Tube Mexico exhibitors focused on metallic tube and pipe manufacturing and processing machinery, tools, resource efficiency and OCTG. The exhibits were supported by daily technical stage presentations and networking events.

Special features at the trade fairs were the country pavilions from Germany, Italy, Austria, France and Brazil as well as a group stand of the International Wire and Machinery Association (IWCMA), reflecting the global spectrum of the wire and tube sector and underlining the growing international importance of wire & Tube Mexico 2025.

Attendees and exhibitors were excited to connect, learn from one another and work together to solve problems. Exhibitors were particularly pleased with the quality of interactions and the genuine interest shown by attendees. Many emphasized how the event served as a catalyst for meaningful discussions and valuable partnership opportunities.

David Troy, Vice President Sales & Services at Reelex, stated: “Mexico is a great growth market for Reelex. To participate here in the show and meet customers is an incredible opportunity. We saw multiple tiers of customers. The support here at the event is the best I have ever seen.”

Dr. Ing. Thomas Kaup, Senior Executive Vice President Global Sales at WAFIOS and Treasurer of the International Wire and Cable Exhibitors Association (IWCEA), agreed: “The trade fair is a quantum leap compared to last year. The trade fair planning is optimal. Great stand construction of the German participation. Also, very good participation from other countries. The concurrent staging with Expo Manufactura is also positive, with visitors coming to both events. The Mexican market is important, no matter what happens in the neighboring country. The potential is there, as is the belief in the market. It was the right decision to be at the trade fair. It is a good platform for the association members to get to know a new market and make initial contacts. We are satisfied as a company and as an association.”
